Today I'll share the lures and gear that I got for cheap at my local Gander Outdoors. I found a spinning reel, large swimbaits, crankbaits, and much more. The store was going out of business so I stocked up on what I could!

9:50 the stutter step walks the dog extremely well and I think the tail keeps it in one place if u give it a small twitch. The main problem is that it's a giant bass bait.

I really like the unboxing coming into the winter here, beacause this is definetly when I start reoutfitting for the coming year. I think for next year a kayak could be an interesting venture. To be honest I havent been subbed for too long, maybe it's just something I hadn't seen yet. What a great deal on the Sedona! My local Gander is also closed now. I was able to grab some good stuff for cheap, but they didn’t have any good rods or reels even at the 30% off time period. Holy cow you came home with a haul. I've been watching stuff on how both underspins and hair jigs slow rolled on the bottom are supposed to be good for winter bass, so seems like those bucktail road runners would be just the ticket.

Debo, Nice video. Those small VMC swivels are the best ever. I love them the corresponding snap however is not really rated to 30#, 20# or even 10#. I have had them open up with small fish, minor snags and lost several large fish on the way to the boat. They both are stealthy small. I double and triple checked the snap prior to casting and they still opened so it was not operator error. I tried to give the snap the benefit of doubt You don’t like to break off, I don’t like equipment failure! Stuff I paid a lot of money for. We have a nearby Dick’s but the nearest Cabela’s is about 40 minutes away and the nearest Bass Pro is over 2 hours. So you have been lucky to have a nearby Gander, sorry to hear they are going out of business. It speaks to the health of the outdoor industry and where it is headed (online IMO).

First. I like the talk mlf segments. Second I caught my PB on that exact KVD Ocho. Third I have the glow vis braid on my 7' MH and I like it. Easier to watch and see the line for any changes while pitching and flipping. It helped me catch a few I never felt the bite.

Damn you made out like a bandit! The roadrunner underspin are classic fish catchers. Sadona is a very good reel. Used one for a couple of years for light saltwater fishing. The 3k size like you bought. Even caught around a 16lb Stingray on it before.

With all the lures and tackle, you have acquired. It might be a good subject to cover on how you keep all of it organized. I try to improve on storing lures, hooks, and plastics during the winter. I am always amazed to find things I forgot I even had while doing this. This really helps when spring arrives. Having your tackle labeled in containers for different types and sizes makes it well worth the time. Most Dollar Stores, Craft stores and Bargain stores have inexpensive stacking containers of different sizes and shapes that work great. The winter months give you the time to fine-tune your tackle. They are not containers you would want to use as tackle boxes; however, they are fine for keeping extra tackle organized.

@@DEBOSFishing Every dollar store has a couple sizes of plastic container they sell for a dollar. I just bought ten containers for $1.00 each. Most bags of soft plastics fit in them inside 5¾ x 6½ and 4’ deep. The same store has 11¾ x 8⅛ and 5” deep containers. For $20 dollars, you get 20 containers and a start to becoming organized. Starting with soft plastics is the easiest to getting started. Do not over organize; first just pile worms in one pile and creature baits in another pile. If you try making piles of different types, you will get confused and go nuts. Jig trailers, swimbaits, and so on. I promise you; you will have one pile of miscellaneous plastics that are just are bazar. Once you reach this point, fill you boxes and label what is in the box. Lure libraries are not built in a day, week, month or in a year however, in time you will succeed. I built an EXCEL workbook for tackle I have over 230 different soft plastic baits in my inventory valued at more than $1500 dollars the numbered count passes 4,000. There is seven different categories of lures plus a terminal tackle inventory. When I add or subtract new models or old ones, it updates the count and maintains an accurate count. I built one for rods and reels too. You might call this a little overboard however; it is true reality of what I have invested in fishing tackle.

I picked up some of that smackdown braid myself for spinning and then 65 for my froggin setup only thing is that 65lb is more slick not sure about it yet we're just about under ice so will have to wait and see

What were your thoughts on the Sedona? I used one as carp reel and thought it was pretty good, for$18m that sounds like a deadset bargain. I like mine, but it just sat at the bottom of the lake for 2 years, before I recaught it a few days ago while perch fishing, lol. It was taken off the bank by a carp in April 2019, and I got snagged a few days ago, to lift the Sahara rod and Sedona Reel from the water. Could not believe it!

Good score. Them Spro swimbaits are phenomenal. I'd like to hear your thoughts / review on that BPS PQ2 reel you have. They had them on sale again this season....both the regular and limited edition models. I know the BPS brand is basically a Lew's reel....with some subtle differences. Otherwise keep up the good work. The vidoes are always appreciated to get thru the winter months here in the northeast.
