I must not have notifications turned on. I didn’t know you loaded this one. That spot was a good find. It will be bonkers the right time of year and no moss. I will post the vid of the big snapper recovery. That would be my PB but I don’t want to claim it because it was a recovery.

We get so many red snapper and they have such a big hype I don’t even care about them. This one was huge but no one took a picture with it. I put a tape on it and it was 36” to the fork.

I only dive in that area a couple times a year at most but yes, he says that it’s typical for this time of year. He was hoping the hurricane would bust it up.

I pretty much go for fun on this kind of trip. I let them sell the fish and I get to keep the lobsters to mount. I get some really nice videos as well. Kind of like a vacation for me.

On the contrary, spearfishing is far more ethical than fishing because you individually select your fish and eliminate out-of-size & season bicatch.
