What they do in the Phillipines is troll a huge wooden 3 foot wahoo decoy 12 below the boat and they watch from the boat and when the wahoo or other pelagics get close to it, the divers jump in and shoot them with a buoy attached to the heavy spear line and just pull it in by hand. There are some videos like this one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHvYgpJ4fLB9jKcfeature=shared

So curious as to what your dive profile and gasses used on these dives look like. I dive Nitrox usually and our dives are always around 100-118 ft. Could you share how you are going so deep and what you deco and safety stops looks like ( ie what gasses at what depth and how long at each stop). Love your videos. Keep up the great work and you our advice videos on equipment.

I usually run a 50 to 60% Deco bottle and jump on that whether Deco is needed or not around 50 to 60 foot. Times and depth depends on how long you stay. I try to keep my Deco minimum with 20 to 30 foot stops at most.

Well now, I put part of the blame on the boat crew. They're supposed to double check the diver before he/she goes over. Is the air on, does he have all his gear, etc,. etc. It happens, but it shouldn't. It's a team effort. And I can't figure out what is with these cameras making things look better than it really is. Maybe the filters? IDK Anyway, you still made a good dive out of it.
