As a diabetic, I eat vicariously through you lol. I imagine how good the food must taste; then towards the end I imagine how sick I'd feel after eating that much, and it kills any cravings. I very much enjoy watching and love the commentary.

Some will say I’m exaggerating with this little anecdote, but it meant a lot to me and that’s why I’m sharing it. Yesterday Randy, Katina and Nate were at the Wagyu Bar in Miami for the Monster Tomahawk (and Picaña) challenge. After following them for so long it was a lifetime opportunity for me to take advantage of being temporarily in Miami and meeting them personally. They are people I look up to in some ways and I can go as far as saying that they resemble a celebrity status for me, hence why I was so excited to meet them. After arriving at the place, chatting with them, receiving their signed pictures and taking a couple of photos with them, I had to leave during the middle of Randy and Nate’s challenge and they asked if I was leaving and proceeded to say “Thanks for coming, Lucas!”. Memory’s not serving me well here, but I can say for sure that Katina said it to me. It means a lot. Holding them as high as I do and having them thank me and remembering my name even after having met so many people speaks volumes of how humble and noble they are. Thank you, Katina (Randy and Nate too). Although English isn’t my strongest suite, I wish I could’ve expressed more about how happy I was to meet you. Good luck in the rest of your adventures, hope you can get all those wins in future challenges, and enjoy the rest of the tour!

Well-done Katina, that has to be the challenge that you made look the easiest because you powered through those cookies without breaking a sweat. Great for you to have Randy in the background giving moral support. I'm continuing on my weight-loss program, I've lost more lbs in weight since I last messaged you. One of the reasons I'm overweight is because I'm physically disabled, the muscles in my back and legs are wrecked from being run over by a car in 1988, I broke both my legs below the knee, fractured my pelvis, back, and skull. The impact knocked me into coma for a month or so (I'm not exactly sure), and when I was released I had balance and co-ordination problems along with a host of other issues. I had to learn to walk and talk all over again. So at the moment because the gym's are closed in the U.K. I'm making a point of walking to a local shopping centre for groceries (which is probably about 3 miles altogether) and/or using my exercise bike everyday. I don't see the difference yet, but I definitely feel it. Anyway, well done, girl.
