There is no "I THOUGHT"... I'm part Scandinavian. My Great Grandad came from Denmark. And instilled an Ethic. This Ethic is real. It is real in the Commercial Fishing Industry. One of my Friend's was a Commercial Fisherman, out of Seattle. His Boat's name was "Celtic". A Waterford Man, worked on the same Ethic from past Fishing Generations. If you are a Greenhorn, you have to embrace and live these Values. Other's lives depend on it. You all depend on each other for you're lives, because The Bering Sea does not care about you're life.

So sig said that it bothers him that Edgar is putting his health and safety first BEFORE the family business because of Edgars back problem...NO S@$# SIG! sig is just REALLY freaking selfish because he's putting MONEY before FAMILY...it's just sad AND sickening...

You have to remember that it's that money that takes care of his family's expenses. Food, housing, clothing, etc cost money. Sig comes from an era where men took care of the family by working a hard job and living a stressful life. Comparing him to today's modern men is like comparing apples to oranges.
