About 25 years ago there was a guy with only one arm who I would see surfing a Laniakea. He was often out on overhead days. Bethany Hamilton surfed Pipeline with only one arm too. Some real accomplishments.

Mike Doyle was so proud of you for taking the softboard to such extremes. In the 70's when we were the only two people on earth riding them....we got some strange looks. Tom got flack for his Boogie Board, but his dream was to make our sport accessible to kids who couldn't afford a real surfboard and the softboard is now the best teaching tool ever seen. Now Gerry caught flack for his name on a softboard....but you are out there legitimizing the use of a nonconformist wavetool much like the new wave is with foils. Stay outside the box JOB, it's the best place to be.
