Bossa Nova is the Brazilian style of music and dance that Elvis is performing here. Of course, Elvis' version is very Americanized.

I loved your reaction and your very good looking! If you maybe thought Michael Jackson was the only singer who could really dance well this is just one of Elvis examples showing he was a great dancer! In the 1970's 'live' on stage he incorporated lots of karate into his performance, which he was very good at!😀♥

Bossa Nova doesn't mean anything. It was the name of a popular dance at the time. But that was not the dance Elvis was doing. He was doing his own thing.
