I think having the stage be like Steve's, where it has a few formations it can be in, or like the transformation stages that cycle through layouts as the match goes on would be a good idea. Have it start at the Front Lawn where not much happens, maybe have a few zombie types walk from the right to the left, dealing damage if a player touches them, but also being able to be killed if hit enough. If they reach the left, they activate a lawn mower that deals more damage and quickly goes across the screen. Have that happen for each lawn type maybe. After a while, it transitions to Night, where graves spawn that block attacks but can be destroyed. Next is the Pool where it could take place over the middle two lanes, with Lily Pads as platforms in the water. Lawn mowers are changed to pool cleaners and maybe Snorkel Zombies pop up to steal some of the Lily Pads. Fog is the same, but Fog will roll in on one of two sides every so often until a Blover gets planted in the background. Maybe have Nate or Patrice do it, even have them replace the mowers as a nice nod to the comics. Rarely a Yeti could spawn in the background too. The Roof is more simple, Lawn Mowers are Roof Cleaners, and Bungee Zombies pop down to try and grab fighters to drag them to the top blast zone. Roof Night could have a battle against Zomboss (Or an auto pilot Zombot if you want to add him as a fighter). He could appear in the background, smash down an RV or two, spawn Bungee Zombies, or the fire and ice balls. If he's not defeated before the transition back to Front Lawn, a Cob Cannon could shoot at him, causing him to retreat for the time being

That would absolutely work for a PvZ stage, I tend to stick to simpler stage layouts cuz I like one-on-one fights but having a cycling stage with dynamic elements like that really fits the vibe of PvZ

PVZ is not a mobile game It is mostly a PC game but it is on comically large amount of platforms.
