I went to the OKC show this year. Believe it or not, Loudness has the same energy and better sound than ever...30 years later. Thank for posting this.

+B valentino It's a great memory!!! Please check "Thunder in the east" 30th version. www.amazon.co.jp/THUNDER-THE-EAST-%E3%83%AA%E3%83%9E%E3%82%B9%E3%82%BF%E3%83%AA%E3%83%B3%E3%82%B0-%E5%88%9D%E5%9B%9E%E7%9B%A4/dp/B014OND6XG Thank you!!!
Akira easily one of the greatest to come out of the post-Rhoads era. He had a depth to his playing that separated him from the rest of the pack. His solo from this time had this barn yard ho-down piece - it was amazing and hysterical at the same time. Way, way ahead of his time. Loudness always had some humor thrown in. A great, great band.
So amazing! I got to see them once only back in 2010, that was a surreal experience.

I used to listen to my "Thunder In the East" cassette way back in 1985 all the time. Glad to know their still gettin' it done. Loved that red and mirrorized guitar that Akira liked to play back then.
If we had ROCK like this all through the last 30 years, the kids would still be ROCKING AND HAVING FUN instead of burning our country down. I love Loudness.

Holy shit. I was one of those 14 year old burnouts at this very show. Still have the ticket stub. Good times.

Awesome footage. Ol' Crue didn't give them much of a stage. But I'd say it worked in Loudness's advantage. Brought them right up to the audience and you can see they are diggin' it.

Right on! Loudness didn’t need much of a stage to blow the ever loving crap out of the ol’ Crue! Motley didn’t stand a chance!

Haha, I just posted the same thing 6 years after your comment. Saw this show and the show a few nights earlier in Philly. Crue dicked them on sound as well.

ZBlacktt This was my first ever concert as a 14 year old. Loudness was great. Crue was to this day the worst live band I’ve ever seen and I’ve been to 400 concerts now.

Me too...love the Crue but they didn't have half the talent of these guys. Akira Takashi is a guitar god

80's rock is the best loudness was a very underrated heavy metal band, well it all comes down to the promoters and what they think will make the biggest cash flow.
