Loudness... The most underrated rock band from Japan. I listen to them when I was 14...now at 50 I am still mesmerised by their spectacular skills and talent. AKIRA rocks... Lots of RESPECT and LOVE from the Island of Borneo

I saw Loudness open for Motley Crue in Detroit in 1985. It inspired me to buy "Thunder in the East" and I still listen to it to this day.
Akira was my 2nd guitar idol... between Randy Rhoads and Yngwie Malmsteeen. Yeah... that's how awesome he was/is. My 80s metal cover band used to play "Let It Go" and "Rock and Roll Crazy Nights". Akira will always hold a special place in my heart... to the very moment I breath my last breath. Thank you Akira... just like you did with thousands/millions of fans... you made a difference in my life and I will NEVER forget that!!! :D

@@NoctemAeternusMusic even today people die from AIDS, cancer, there are more autistic children and women rights are still a joke. back in the '80s, there was still a venue where you could go make friends and release your stress, now tell me where all those good venues have gone. we are living in times of division where people have become more selfish and antisocial.
These guys are legends in my book. "Thunder in the East " is an amazing album.

I went to see motley crews theater of pain tour at the Sports Arena in Chula Vista California. I was a big motley Crue fan and had only seen one or two loudness videos on MTV. I didn’t know much about loudness but I was blown away with their guitarist and they’re singer. Loudness may be the only opening act that didn’t get totally booed after their performance. Lots of love for Motley Crue but loudness was definitely an awesome band. In fact I left that Motley Crue concert with a loudness T-shirt. LOL!

Motley Crue were very likeable with average skill levels that appealed to the masses. Loudness offered a much more exciting style of Heavier metal with better guitar work more suited to genuine metal heads.
