I for one am glad that Pokemon are doing reprints. I'm a collector at heart but this has been getting out of hand. It's crazy, this should be "dirt cheap" as you say. Love your content Danny. Keep it up.

Just wait until it gets to the price you're comfortable with. Special delivery pikachu released 4 years ago at over $250. Now you can still pick up that card under $100 and there's way less of those available.

I still think there is a fine line with value and exclusivity and Pokémon might be crossing that line in a bad way. I’m not a flipper or seller, just a true collector but i don’t think any true collector wants their collection having no to little value

Agree. It’s like with everything humans collect and the reason why collecting in the first place makes sense, we always want the most rarest and value things. Back in the days on the schoolyard we all wanted that charizard because it was the rarest most valuable card 1999 only a few had. collecting without value is just a waste of space. The only problem are the scalpers and with this Van Gogh Promo, Pokemon Company should have known it better, it’s their fault all the way.

I bought a Pika Felt Hat and got it graded PSA 10 for around £100 total. Its totally worth it long term, its a gorgeous card and will hold its value. I just feel sorry for those that spent £300+

I've been collecting pokemon cards only ever since I was a kid. However, my daughter and I just picked up a couple championship decks so we can finally play each other using a physical deck! I've always wanted to play the tcg game in person, but I've never been able to get myself to play with the actual cards I'd need for decks I want to play with lol.

They reprinted 50k... not millions. As time goes by they will rise again. In the netherlands they dipped to 35, now they are back to 50+ again.

I think Pokemon should buy a marketplace, like TCG player, so they can start getting/caring about profits on secondary. Maybe they will slightly shift to liking singles value vs printing 1000000000 cards

Everytime Pokemon reprints rares like felt hat Pikachu, people get salty. As a collector, I like the idea of them being available to more people who want them. $100+ is way beyond the average Pokemon aficionado.

Just opened a paldean fates booster bundle and got some great hits. I was happy but when you add up the value of those great hits together maybe $2.50 total value. That's my issue with pokemon now. Too many sets with too much reprinting. Its going to sour those in the hope I hope they are careful and don't upset there base or they will be sitting on a ton of product.

The thing with cards from packs, is that there are still packs on the market, and adding specialty decks or collection boxes just allows people to get the card %100 from any store. The problem with the van gogh pikachu is still the same, giving it out IS the only way. And they are still just trickling it out, and doing so in a single tiny country(Sorry Netherlands). They really should have just dumped it all on the market at once. But also honor the fact that on pokemon center's website every product was sold out before it went live. That thing should be no more than a $15 card and it still $100.

People who got grey felt pikachus LITERALLY got hundreds and THOUSNADS of dollars of free money. That dude selling 500 of them even at record low of 40 dollars, would make 20 grand. The time is up and its time these cards dropped down and even then it wont be "cheap". Should be a 20 buck card. Anything more is ridiculous
