CRAZY FAST - Radio Controlled Touring Car Racing

If you’ve been following the channel you’ll know that I’ve been dabbling in the high speed, precision sport of Radio Controlled Touring Car racing lately.. I’m not new to the RC Racing scene BUT I mainly race 1/8 Scale Off Road Buggies. Today I attend round 11 of the Ulster Model Car Clubs winter championship, where I learn about FDR Final Drive Ratios and tuning the car using expo curves on the transmitter, learn with me as I hone my skills on the track.

The only thing changed was the gearing, it didn’t feel like it made a huge difference, maybe a little sharper out of the corner, but that was about it… still think it’s beginners luck though 🤷‍♂️

@@TimsRcsurgery I completely changed everything and found something I liked, felt mostly like I was in the car. Breakages a minor inconvenience 🤣 a result of being able to take a completely new type of line at higher speeds. I hope to make it right in the last two rounds then hit outdoor swinging 🤣

@@TimsRcsurgery Ballymoney is class, real shame that a lot of drivers don't run, whether indoor racers only or off running 1/8th. Lot of date clashes on the calendar for saturdays 😞

I’ll be doing buggy racing again too, this is just handy for me at the moment, not to mention it’s some craic!! 😃 The racing is so tight, it’s fun learning something else, changes it up a bit 💪🏼
