Men, no matter how experienced in life inevitably get screwed over at one point or another whether it be through divorce courts, romantic relationships, friends or even family. While society doesn’t give a crap about these hardships of men at all, it is my hope that this channel can atleast give some clarity and relatability on these issues in a world where nobody seems to acknowledge them at all. Though I’m not a commentator by nature, I think it’s important that men share this information with one another to navigate the problems we all face.
If you’re interested in learning with me about these issues as they branch into others such as mental illness, wellbeing and accountability - you’ve come to the right place.
After months and months I’ve finally developed a space where men can share their thoughts and opinions (if susan doesn’t boot us off, get on Locals gents) and I think it’s important we take advantage of it - even if we don’t feel like talking about some of these unpleasant issues.
🕸️ Who Am I?
My name is Taylor the Fiend, but you can just call me Taylor. I help men understand the bitter truths of modern dating & society.
When I was younger (and probably still today let’s be honest) I was incredibly reckless and stupid. I had no cynicism or worldly experience and this caused me to go through a lot of stupid relationships and patterns that made life very difficult. This isn’t to complain (as these things were completely my own fault), more to share with you where I started.
🕸️ My Story.
Now, fast forward some time - adding a hefty amount of cynicism to the mix, I started to realize that people don’t always have your best interests at heart. A bitter realization, but a necessary one. Though I’ve been screwed over my fair share from my stupid decisions, I watched men around me who were far more established, intelligent and experienced get screwed over for far more irregardless. Divorce courts, a society that pushes away masculinity and a dash of misandry - have left men out in the cold metaphorically and physically speaking.
It gives me hope that myself as well as many other men have reached a point where we can look back and learn from our mistakes. Even if it sucks, we can share our experiences so we can collectively overcome all of the bull*** (pardon my language overlord susan) that gets thrown at us in modern society.

Several years ago, there was this pretty but fat girl at a church I was attending. She was after me like a heat seeking missile and looked at me like I was on the menu. I could almost see in her eyes the things she wanted to do to me. I was always polite to her but not interested in fat. She even had me come over to her house to fix a few things, which I did and stayed for a short visit. Sometimes after church a group of us singles would go out for lunch, and I would engage her in conversation. What I am saying is I wasn’t rude to her or ignored her because of her weight. She was actually kind of fun to be around, bubbly, and had a nice disposition. I eventually started attending another church that is a better fit for me but still kept in contact with some of my friends from this church. She is not one of them. A few years pass and I start making a few visits to my old church purely for nostalgic reasons and hoping to see some old acquaintances. While there I see her during the church service. She is sitting a few rows ahead of me, and she also sees me. She is still pretty but has now lost weight. Enough weight to where she looks hot and is wearing a nice dress that, emphasizes her best assets, and looks good on her rather than her usual “tent dress”. After the service I make a moderate effort to find my way over to her to strike up a conversation and see where she is at in life. Compliment her on her weight loss and just see how she is doing in general. If that goes well, ask her to join me for lunch. Also thinking in the back of my mind that if she is still interested in me, now there might be a possibility. She totally ignores me and disappears into the crowd. I certainly wasn’t going to make a spectacle out of myself and chase after her. I made a few more visits to my old church and fulfilled my nostalgia and then stopped coming. I did see her a few more times and she saw me but made it clear she was not approachable to me. She was also wearing a “puss” on her face like she was angry at the world. Oh well, tomorrow is another day. I don’t understand girls like her. She wanted me bad back in the day. She lost weight. I am guessing because wanted to be more attractive to men, get more attention, and have more options. She is now there, and I am sure it wasn’t easy to lose all that weight. She worked hard to get there and can now reap the rewards of her hard work. Instead, she now ignores the guy she at one time wanted and it did not go unnoticed by me that she was alone, not with any man, or have any men chasing after her. I don’t get it? I thought this was the whole reason for her losing the weight, that this is what she wanted, to be attractive like the other girls, to have men chasing after her like the other girls, to be able to do the picking instead of being the one being picked, and now that she is there and has what she’s worked so hard to get, she throws it away. I am in my sixties now but can still turn heads when I walk into a room. I am single and have no children. All by choice. Have had a pretty good life all the way around. I worked for the airlines and traveled all over the world and have known many women. It was not always like this for me. When I was a teenager, I was not a jock, had acne so bad on my face that I had pimples on top of my pimples. There was literally no skin surface that didn’t have a pimple on it, so the new pimples had to come up under the existing pimples. My skin hurt just to touch it. My nickname was crater face. Was not very popular with the girls. Went to college and all that changed in a big way. Turns out there was a pretty good-looking guy under all those pimples once they went away and I now had more women than I knew what to do with, and it’s been that way ever since. The thing is, after the change I didn’t go around with a puss on my face resenting all of these hot women that under previous circumstances wouldn’t have bothered to give me the time of day and now all of a sudden are vying for my attention. Instead, I was very grateful for my change of fortune and enjoyed a very good life. Seems like most women are relationship suicidal. They’re not happy unless there is some sort of drama going on in their lives. Either real or contrived.
