PIKO America is Crazy for Camelbacks. If you have not seen these finely detailed locomotives, this video shows you all of them!
This video shows you all of the Camelback locomotives PIKO currently makes. (Distributed to the America's by PIKO America, of course.) Starting with the original Reading 0-6-0 loco #1399 and a new numbered locomotive #1396, a camelback for Baltimore & Ohio (B&O), Pennsylvannia (PRR), a unique Santa Fe camelback that ATSF actually tested, and the Blue Comet luxury train for the Central Railroad of New Jersey (or CRR of NJ). At the end is a run of all 6 Camelback locomotives... not for the faint of heart!! :)
About PIKO America:
Since 2010 retailers all across North America have trusted PIKO America for a reliable supply of quality PIKO products including over 700 G-Scale items and over 1600 HO-Scale, N-Scale, and TT-Scale models trains, buildings, and accessories.
PIKO G-Scale trains are truly made for the great outdoors!

Every where I go everyone is saying there was no such model. Well, yes, I am a PIKO man, of course! But I really have never heard of any other Camelback-type locos having been manufactured in G-Scale. Maybe something kitbashed or custom-built, but not manufactured.

Hi Jonathan , do you think Piko will release new versions of the Camelback Locos in the future?

@Hisatsinom, There is no telling what PIKO will do next! :) Some of these Camelback locos are still out on the market and we always have plenty of new products coming. Stay tuned... (Sorry to not answer the question, but future plans are a closely guarded secret at PIKO. :) )

Are the Piko digital locomotives compatible with the Marklin Central Station 3 controller? Currently only operate LGB/Marklin . Thanks

The PIKO loco decoders are designed to NMRA DCC standards and work well on many NMRA DCC systems. The Maerklin Central Station 3 seems to be stated as being compatible with NMRA DCC standards, but keep in mind that it was designed to work first and foremost with Maerklin HO trains, which use a different digital communication protocol. I personally have no experience with it. I would strongly recommend finding a way to test it yourself, or at least finding a knowledgeable source who has experience with this combo. Also, be careful about the power supply. The PIKO loco will stop and flash its lights if it senses more than the NMRA DCC standard of 27 volts peak on the rails.

I would rather call it a " what if" livery. This is what a camelback would look like if it served the Blue Comet.
