Sometimes over-caring few plants also ruins them. My personal experience, i wasnt there for 2months. Sadly all my potted plants except spider plant and zz plant are dried up, but to my great surprise, i saw a shoot coming from my zz plant, which i did not see for the last one year!

These points are so true and valid. Whenever I notice that a plant has stopped growing or not doing well, I move it to my bathroom that gets good amount of sunlight. The humidity is also high inside bathroom and both these factors always works wonders for my dying plants.
@swapankumardey72463 жыл бұрын
You are absolutely right! Humidity is the main factor in indoor plants. Yes, without light the photosynthesis will stop but we can provide artificial LED lights. Some plants I have placed in my bathroom racks where I have provided continuous LED lights and two three buckets full of water. Sometimes I keep running fan for few minutes to circulate the moisture throughout the room. I only use my own bathroom and handling water is less. My wife use her own bathroom. I am also using moss tickets for Hoya. I enjoy the way you narrate. I am a retired chemical engineer and a senior citizen. I am running 76 years. Take care!

This is exactly what I experienced during lockdown. I moved all my plants to a balcony and luckily got a friend to water them....the time coincides with monsoon season ..n when I returned in August...there was a jungle in my balcony. Even my green chilli plant got upto a feet less than my height...also there is one more factor... important one...when plants are kept in close vicinity to each other, they grow exceptionally well. Reason my be large plants provide shade to smaller one like succulents or they simply love being social😂

Even i have experienced the same .....my plants grow more speedy whn i come back frm my vacation if kept under proper light n watering conditions . I also think plants does not like more disturbance . When i m thr i keep touching n shifting them frm 1 place to another although not v often .they like to b in 1 place with all their basic needs .if tht is fullfilled they thrive .

The moisture part is a real game changer in my experience. I was surprised to see my tomato plant grow about 6 inches in a week when I had gone out for vacation. The only downside I saw was increase in the pests, especially caterpillars and bugs appeared from nowhere and started eating up all the leaves!
