My mom gave me her Pothos 30 years ago. When I got the plant it was from my great great grandmother's indoor garden in 1890. So that would make my Pothos 122 years old. And I absolutely love this plant

@insertoriginalname49462 жыл бұрын
@@nadergt1 nope! All indoor plants are from the wild however if they aren't native to your area it may not be a good idea to plant them outside.

That is absolutely amazing! I wish I had family plants that were passed down in my family. But just out of curiosity, wouldn't 1890 mean the Pothos is 132 years old? Unless she got it in 1900? It is still really impressive how much life it has seen though!

i wonder if you might have a tip? I have a beautiful pothos plant (for years) but this year it's going yellow! I am not sure why - as one of the newer ones I've planted in there (from PuL's wonderful advice of trimming the long ones) is great and dark green. any tips on your healthy pothos?

It's been my mission not only to keep them alive but also have new ones coming along. This video was clear and concise and the presenter as beautiful as her plants. I also noted the lack of tattoos so popular in young women today and she didn't mind getting her hands into the soil.

Hi, my lovely! The UK here! I just want to tell you how amazing you are at teaching us all about house plants! You are so articulate and precise in your demonstrations, it makes me want to rush to the plant shop and really get into it! Lool I am definitely a NEW plant mum! I have already lost and am losing some of my beautiful babies already! I try to leave them alone, but still get it wrong; I usually check if they need water in a very unusual way; I lift the pot and if it's very light and feels airy, that is my cue to water them and so far I have been right. I water like you; just till I see the water treacle out of the bottom of the plant pot. I heard you mention that the temperature of the water should be a little warmer in the winter and cooler in the Summer, I think that may have played a huge factor in my babies having a premature life span. Thank you for that tip! My Money Penny (taken from James Bond loool You call yours the Pancake) is struggling: some leaves have gone lime green! I think from overwatering, but it seems determined to die! Any tips on saving it? Thank you for reading my rather lengthy comment! Woops!

Propagating is so fun ! I love to try propagating everything : lemon seeds, mango seeds, avocado seeds, papyrus, etc. Your plants are beautiful ! Goals, really.

I’ve actually done this when I trimmed down my petunias I accidentally cute off a bloomed flower and I decided to put it in some water and put is on my window(don’t worry I keep my window closed most of the time except for in the afternoon) and I noticed new blossoms started to bloom. I was kinda shocked honestly thought it would die in like a day or two but they lasted for a week.

Learned so much from this, propagating raspberry, mint, trying jalapeño and Artemisia abrotanum currently. its my first year gardening and so far its such fun. The satisfaction at multiplying crops or improving lacklustre plants has been mood lifting, to wake up and see change and improvements everyday is so motivating. I've learned a lot from this video will try these methods on some of my indoor babies thanks.

The Pancake plant that you called, is actually money plant according to the chinese, that I learned recently. So last year for Chinese New Year I bought three pots, two for gifts and one for myself. And each pot had so many babies included, so I pulled them out w/ the roots and replanted in its own pots. I am so happy w/ them

Just in time! I was just thinking about how awesome some plants in my room would be, since I'm all alone and it's just white, and I love waking up and seeing some green light in my room:) Thanks!

So far the best video I saw on the indoor plants... more than the info. I like the way the host presented it. The interest towards the subject shows up on her beautiful smiling face when she explains. Keep up the good work. I enjoyed watching this video and gonna make my hands dirty...

Me too.... Do u think it's possible to plant in homestay aka "kamar kos" ?😆

Natalia Chen That’s my intention! I am a medstud and I get lonely and stuffed as I spend most of my time studying, going in a public place doesn’t help as I need a quiet environment for studying-hehehe. As long as you consult with the landlord about your ideas I think it’s okay!

It's beautiful!!! I simply love the arrangement you have it there. Your positive energy is very calming and soothing. I do have few questions, how did you hang those up on the wall? How long does it take to water all those plants & how often do you do that?
