u make it look so easy, in the exam i didnt draw the circle so i had a difficult time trying to figure out what to do

I hope that this explanation made sense for you, and I think it is 100% worth it to draw the diagram when it's not given, because it can give you clues for the question. For instance in this case, I saw that there were two possibilities for the y value of point Q, and using the diagram, it was clear as day that only the negative one was able to give the line L a positive gradient. Yo,5:13 the radius doesn't touch the origin, 00, so could u explain that

Sorry, I should've made this a bit more clear in the video. The blue line is the line L we are given in the equation. I didn't draw out the radius on the main diagram, I did it on the side, using the triangle. The radius definitely has to touch the origin as we know the centre of the circle is at the origin. I got 0 would I get any marks cuz I got the gradient was like 2 and a lot of people also got 0 so surely like 2 or 3 marks?

Hi, I would do a past paper question by question (after each question, check the mark scheme) to see where you weaknesses are. If there are some, try and focus on those but if you feel pretty confident with most of the paper, I would look at those grade 8-9 questions you would see at the end of the paper! You can find loads on the internet and I've got a few videos on those kinds of questions on my channel! For most people it is usually those last few questions that really challenge most of us, so if you try and anticipate what might come up by practising a few, that'll really go a long way. I think it depends on the questions. On this paper, there were quite a few challenging questions right at the end that would've taken a lot of time, which I can understand. it was enough time for me, but I do feel that they were a bit mean with the types of questions with the time allocated. Same - I found the cuboid question quite challenging, and messed it up (but it did make sense doing it after the paper) but this question was a really nice question to end off with! :)

The cuboid was easy. The x+y=8 with the powers of 2 was the only question that I got wrong
