Thought I would do something a little different with this stirling engine. Let's see what I can dream up next.

It made me smile when I saw the water wheel spin. Thanks

Great combination of movements. This is the first demonstration of a sterling engine doing some type of work that I have seen. 1) pumping water, 2) turning a mill, 3) collecting and dropping a marble. Very well done!

Now all you need is a tiny, tiny generator, a capacitor and an LED. If you make some simple brushes out of thin copper wires so that the rolling ball quickly completes a circuit to the LED from the cap you have an instant heavyweight contender for the flashing light prize.

Electrical connectors from a strip of " China connectors!" They come in different sizes and In the old days the insulation was China Porcelain and not as it is nowadays, simple plastic insulation.

Make a kit for kids to build, its a very well thought out and creative integration of cooling and pumping mechanisms.

I like the fact that is cools the top plates and then uses the water head to power the water wheel ..I too have built all three things ....Separately !

nice unit...like the water fall effect...which is actually a good way to cool down the water again...plus it shows that these motors can do some basic physical work (pump water ) as with the wheel and steel balls also ( lifting loads )

First off this is a wonderful Now as I see it,, the Sterling, runs the water pump, it cycles the water, the water turns the meal wheel, in the meal will drives the ball machine? Am I right or am I wrong? It's all cool!

Why do they never answer questions concerning this engine. What is its use? Can it be used to power a flywheel to convert into electricity and at what wattages? Seem to be table toys to show off, this guy answers no questions, is he simply showing off how good he is? No feedback is baaaad.

Do you have the issue with it stopping when the displacers get too hot? Did you try to get it to turn a small motor? I would use a small ac motor you can convert it to dc and ac motor generates more at lower rpms than dc motors can.
