I spent 8 days and nights camping and fishing in the Fla. Keys. I caught 6 big snook on large artificial minnows. I didn’t even know what they were at the time. Lots of barracuda and various other fish on top water and other things as I explored all around. Your vid’s bring me back to those days, thanks.

On the south side of lake suprise, in Key Largo there is a big creek called Doosenberry (? sp), fantastic place to grab monster mangroves......You're 😢welcome brotha. Btw, you might drive down Card Sound Rd, alternate to US 1going to the Keys. All great back water fishing. That croc's name is Omar. He is estimated to be 40ish yrs old. Turkey Point Nuclear power station is the largest controlled breeding ground for gators and crocs. Scary big back in those cooling canals. Thats where he came from.

Great vid Rich. Just a suggestion. For cudas burn the lure in. Cant reel it to fast. That tarpon footage was insane ! How long was that croc ? Kinda scary in a kayak. They are a totally different animal than a gator.
@FishAholicTV3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Adam for the tip! The Croc looked to be a couple feet short of my kayak and the Hobie Outback I think is almost 13ft. So it wasn't a baby.

@scottlebus28203 жыл бұрын
Hey I’m new to the channel but I’m loving the videos… lots of fun. I’m going to Android Bahamas in Feb and I’m going to be taking some of the swim and shrimp baits you have been showing off. Any suggestions for a bonefish lure…. I figured the Vudu shrimp but now sure what pattern?
@FishAholicTV3 жыл бұрын
Hey Scott, thanks for tuning in!! I've caught one bonefish actually on those little shrimp and I think it would be worth a shot to try if you get some shrimp pro cure super gel to give it some extra flavor. I would got with natural shrimp colors because the water will be clear. Also bring 8lb,10lb,12lb, and 15lb fluorocarbon. The lighter the line might help with really finicky fish. Other than than that I believe really small bucktails or hair jigs could work or of course live shrimp, or a small live crab.

I for one really like your drone footage as part of your content! You're fishing solo in a kayak for pete's sake! You are not a commercial dragger spotting schools of stripers from a piper cub and relaying that to the captain. That is a felony. Read the Shining Tides by Win Brooks. This is a tremendous vid with the tarpon flying at you, this zany action only happens to you because you put in 100s hours of effort. Great content Rich!

Fishing spots where Alligators have taken stray dogs, my scooter only runs 22 mph I hope it will out run the gators (LOL) I'm a 71 year old 15 year Cancer and 2 time heart attack survivor! And I'm out to have fun after being stuck in a 4mph wheelchair for 3 years, now that I can go 22 mph I'm going to go the whole 36 miles this scooter will go everyday(lmao) My health has held me down but now I'm going to get her done buddy!
