Thanks so much!!! I was pumped for awhile after this catch!! I tried again the next day but only jumped two smaller ones. Then caught loads of bait for the next day which will be the next keys episode 🎥 😎

Hahahaha I’ve brought it up to the wife many times. We talk about it but I’m not sure if she likes only one road in and out of the area. Because of hurricanes.

The second tarpon is making me wandering what really happened. The leader looks like having a few inches frayed. Is that correct? If so it doesn’t make sense. It was a new leader. Do you believe that fighting too hard wouldn’t frail it?

Just lost a big snook or tarpon (PB for sure with how quickly it darted up current after I set the hook). tonight due to a leader knot fail or potentially got frayed off in .3 seconds wich I highly doubt with a 4 foot leader and all sand bottom . Any advice on the best leader knots for 30lb braid and 30lb mono . ??? Please I don’t want to miss my pb agin , I’m honestly just praying it was a giant jack 😂🤣🥹. Just started using leaders after loosing a nice snook the other day so don’t roast me and yes my knot was tight.
@Simonsays710.Күн бұрын
Really upset that it’s the second fish this week that I have lost first snook I seen and was only like 28-30 and frayed me cause I had straight braid that was old n dry , hence why I just started using mono leader and new braid, then lost my whole leader with a good knot and now 2 3inch nlbn lures plus one I had to pop off on a rock but guess what mono broke before the leader knot 🙃 if I don’t get another pb soon I’m gunna tweak out like the fish that has my lure and 4ft leader in his mouth still 😂 ( not funny ) hope he still eats good and it rust out quick .
