Happened to me last week.. 1st of 2 bites a skimmer dropped off (frozen elastic) 2nd of 2 bites 2 min before the all out a 6lb 2oz carp for second and a nice £200 + trophy 👍Luck definitely on my side 😀 🎣👍

Breaking the ice can often result in some fantastic fishing Stephen. It’s not for everyone, but in matches you have no other choice than breaking it 👍

Hi Dave. The gloves are just from a normal DIY shop. Standard building gloves. As for the elastic freezing, not sure there is anything you can really do.
