Great video as always from the master himself. Although the whole 6mm or 8mm thing makes no difference its just a preference some changes in fishing approach make a huge difference. When i hear people like i might try a 6 mm but then move up to an 8 if there are better fish about makes me laugh as the fish dont go oh thats a 8mm ill leave that for the bigger fellas. Makes no difference at all.

Excellent commentary from a great angler. Very enjoyable watch. No rushing but a relaxed performance. Would like to know when Andy missed a bite, how did he know his caster/pellet was still intact…..I’d be bringing the rig back to check it’s okay and wasting time. 👍🤔

Amazing video. Who would have believed that you could have all those fish feeding in your peg and your float can just sit there like there isn't a fish within a mile? IN FEBRUARY!!!

I don’t fish matches but like any angler the intention is always to catch a good weight so really interesting and useful insight into set up and tactics through the session

Thank you.. as match anglers you'll normally fish 2 lines of attack. Can you do another BUT in different depths (4ft margin, deeper 2nd line) also incorporate different food items (Sweetcorn hemp soaked pellet mashed bread). You also took the timer away to early as your test progressed.. your thoughts were great and the video was too short. Many thanks again

This is a brilliant for Meadowlands fishery and can work really well with a length of lead tubing to combat foul hooking , Will Guru be making a carbon frame landing net? Pps; straight lead with two snakes stops the smaller skimbobs

Steve's analogy about international and commercial fishing saying he'd hammer Andy Bennett fishing an international style feeder match and making out basically commercial fishing is fishing jigger for f1's was disrespectful IMO. Andy Bennett would smash Steve up fishing for f1's without fishing a jigger or over shotted rig. In fact, just by watching their videos in the past, I'd say that Bennett's watercraft and understanding of how fish react in situations is miles better than Steve's. I personally don't believe that if Steve Ringer left international fishing, and concentrated on big money finals like fisho, that he'd be likely to win another, the opposition now is much stronger than it was. It's a redundant argument anyway, because I doubt any of Jamie Hughes , Bagger or any of the top commercial people have the desire to chase international honours on the mostly flaky international venues they are fished on. If we liken it to football, I'd say the majority of footy fans don't care about the international game as much as our domestic footy. Plus international representation is a very narrow window to aspire to. BTW Andy May, who was mentioned, has fished in junior international set up at least. None of this means I think Steve Ringer is an inferior angler, and the dedication and financial outlay cannot be ignored, but I don't think he is as good as he believes he is either.

Guys, I lost my dad in June, which was tough. And listening to Tommy, a friend of mine turned right instead of left at Christmas. He couldn’t cope. Devastating. As Tommy, I never noticed mental health, but it’s crept up on me. Tommy I’m crying my eyes. Thankyou for talking out. Legend. The bionic bleaker!! Kindest regards. Tom

The temperature of the water is relevant when performing this experiment. Liquids are generally more condensed at lower temperatures, and therefore less condensed at higher temperatures. This would certainly have an effect on how quickly articles fall through the water.

As a it is essential that you have a mentor to help you stay accountable. In my case, Ann Marie strunk has guided me for months and I highly recommend her. I focus on her. To be honest, I'm almost hesitant to let someone take charge of growing my finances, but I'm so glad I did.

I would say you’re catching deep shallow due to thermoclines where the fish are sitting in the warmer water off the bottom, my piggies in the pond rarely sit on the bottom when it’s below zero I can clearly see them between 12 and 18 inches off bottom
