I grew up with him personally in the BX....I doubt he would remember me, we were just kids and he hung around with tons of people...I knew him, Mr Freeze lil Lep and Fastbreak....funny thing is.....he was super quiet sometimes you wouldn't even know he was there....until you looked over and spotted him....from what I remember, he was always a cool dude and extremely respectful...!..dude don't freakin age either!.....hope him and his Family are getting all goods things out of life....he deserves it, he was always cool People....

I remember meeting him when he came to Soundset in MInnesota last year! Got to sit down with him and chat with him for 20 minutes the day before. It was both a blessing and a history lesson! It was a pleasure.

The name Hip Hop was actually coined by Cowboy R.I.P from Grandmaster Flash & The Furious 5....And B Boy stood for Breaking Boy or B Girl for Breaking Girl who would dance to the breaks of the records and was given that name by Kool Herc..... Peace and blessings to all on this Post

Crazy doesn't get old,like the b-boying,im 37 now my first movie when i watched was "flasdance" on commercial tv i was like 10 years old then i i saw a guy doing swipes and after 10 years i started to do it,this coulture wasnt popular at the times in here (Poland) then i see "beat street" and get to now all the founders of it .We were self teching dancing on the cardboards linoleums like in the us,people who saw us were like WTF :)i just want to hank all the founders inventors and say that i am gratfull to be part f it...now i still have a pasiion still wanna dance but life kids other stuff hmm well ok who i want to convince when you hear babe ruth apache or so on you go on the floor in your room and your kids following you thas the continuation of this ,i cant find a word super felling of life!

Hip Hop 101? Legs did not retain all of the history. Some of it is distorted or HIS story. Not history. 82 and it was not called hip hop? Hip Hop did NOT come from Love-Bug Starsky. It came from Cowboy of the Furious 5.
