@patrickfields33924 жыл бұрын
@@natedenooyer9899 I'm 16 and got a 92 2wd single cab for 3500. Best first truck ever. I just ordered a carpet kit and am currently making a seat bracket for a pair of 2001 Celica seats. If you do decide to look at one you are considering purchasing, look out if it sounds like a diesel (broken timing chain guide) and frame/body rust. My chain guides broke after 1 month and I replaced them by myself for around 150 dollars with metal backed ones but it's a fairly difficult job. I also have fender and tailgate rust but those parts are about 75 dollars each. Lowering kits are cheap and the 5 speed manuals are great fun. Good Luck!

I love that you used the 4x4 front fenders. I always liked the way the 4x4 side-markers pointed up instead of how the 2wd pointed down. It's a subtle difference, but it's a slightly more aggresive look.

@Thoroughly_Wet4 жыл бұрын
@@jamestgilkey75 if you saw his comment and actually checked the previous video to this one, youd know it's a 1uz. If you're unaware thats a 4 liter v8 with an over-square design, 6 bolt main and variable valve timing. The only weakness in the engine are the cast pistons and con rods. Plus at 250,000 miles for a 1uz the things are still very, very viable. On top of that, there's nothing wrong with an automatic transmission considering Hellcats use autos. Its really dependent on his use though. Shouldn't come in talking trash unless you can't be proven wrong man Edit: spaces to make it easier to read

Nice to see the aero is functional. I build alot of splitters, undertrays and diffusers, and the setup on your truck definitely looks the part. A lot of people overlook the rear support struts on the front sections, and if you're fast enough you'll actually get some unwanted flexing. I build alot of e36 based parts, and those struts look very similar to the ones I incorporate into mine. Very clean work, and a cool project overall! 👍😎

Really great build! All except no engine swap or build? I have an 87 Toyota Pickup that's lowered with coilover conversions front and back. It has a rare stock 22RET Turbo version of the same 2.4 that these trucks mostly had. It was in a 4runner that I bought that was wrecked. I got the 4Runner for $500 and the engine alone was worth more than that. Only other thing the truck has is the rear end from a Tacoma S Runner with an LSD. So the truck actually handles very well and drifts pretty damn nicely. It's only driven about once every two weeks though. Gotta keep the miles low, but I do use it. I love it too much not to.
