Crazy OVERGROWN Lawn Gets MAKEOVER - Hasn't Been MOWED All Year

After her parents died, there was nobody to get this crazy overgrown lawn back in shape so we gave it a makeover for her. This land has been in their family for a very long time so she is going to move back in here very soon and needed someone to mow. This yard hasn't been mowed all year so we wanted to help out and get it looking a little better for when she moves back in.

Great job as always. Keep up the good work, it’s always nice to help someone. When I was still roofing, during a union meeting they would announce the roof of the month for those that couldn’t afford it. The supply company would supply the material, one of the companies would supply the trucks and thirty to fifty roofers would show up and be done by noon. Everybody picked a job and we knocked it out. Love the work you do. My stepmother's mom just passed a couple weeks ago. I don't think people realize how much work and how hard it is to clean up after someone passes. It's an emotional roller coaster. You helping out with the yard takes such a burden off them. God bless you and Spider Monkey!! He climbed up that tree like a pro!!

I totally get what you are saying. When I lost my dad a few years after my mom passed. Cleaning up all the stuff and going through everything is tough. It was nice to have some help on some things that seem so simple to others but meant so much to me and my family. So sorry for your loss.

You and your son are the best. Whatever task you are given, you always do your best. Your son had a great idea of attacking the shrubs always from the bottom. He did an excellent job in clearing the trunk of the bigger trees with the extra smaller branches sticking out of the way, though I would have preferred that he thinned the branches a little bit more. It is an added satisfaction to watch you cut the branches off the trees that interfere with your mowing. Also, a great feeling to see you mow through the grass all the way beyond the camera's frame, without hesitating to stop. Viewers hate it when you stop and turn around in the other direction without completing the route. I, in my opinion, would feel that the task is not completed. I prefer to see you mow through the grass once, not considering whether or not the grass was fully cut, but rather see you cut the overgrown first in one pass and come back later on and finish it nicely after everything is cleared. Congratulations!

Ok, I have now watched this one 3 times. Loving all the discoveries...fencing, bird baths and feeders, a picnic tables, one old metal lawn chair that you don't see often anymore. And watching Justin is so much fun. Give him a couple tools and get out of his way! And in typical Justin fashion, there he is, up a tree. All the mowing you did really opened up the whole property. The owner has gotta be thrilled.

Another great transformation! I’m glad you guys are wearing eye protection when you’re mowing and weed eating. Your eyes are feeling important and it’s good to see that you’re taking care of them. Wow, this was a BIG job. It truly looked "abandoned" before you got after it, and now it looks like someone actually LIVES there. Getting all that undergrowth, saplings, and vines away from the trees made a huge difference -- the property genuinely looks groomed. Amazing to see all of the buried features like the bird bath and the storm shelter re-emerge from oblivion, too. Now, I just hope she can find a local kid with a push-mower to keep up the maintenance mowing -- if so, the property should be good to go for a long while. As always, nice work! First of all, that is one beautiful piece of property. Even though it was a lot of hard work, it had to be somewhat enjoyable just looking around the beauty of that property. Another great transformation! Once she gets skirting around the trailer and cleans up stuff sitting in the yard and burns that brush pile it will be a nice little country home. Yeah definitely been a very hot and dry summer! Supposed to be back to record breaking heat early next week as well! I’m ready for fall! And yes that will be a fun bonfire once we get a little moisture

Sue Wolfe- Wow Brian, that was a wild one! I couldn't help but laugh when Justin scaled that tree like Spider-Man, then pulled out the chain saw to cut off the branch, too funny!! There was a lot of overgrowth, but y'all brought this place back to life again. I'm sure the lady will enjoy living on the beautiful acreage. For the big propertys you work on Brian, you'll need a big shredder.You can use it also for the small ones. It safes time for not driving to the tip/ yard and you can use the mulch everywere in the gardens.
