My parents were just "normal folk," working whatever job they had to, but they have always loved music, especially older tunes, and country like Patsy, George (both of them,) Conway, and so on. I don't want to say good bye, to them, but I pray I have to and not them, and I'll make sure they have plenty of amazing music in their lives as long as I can. After that, I'll break for a few days/weeks, then pick myself up like they'd tell me to and go on, I hope.

My heart is filled to the brim! Good heavens, Allison, your music is so beautiful! Lest you ever doubt the importance of continuing on your musical journey, here is my favorite quote about the role music plays in our lives: "Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind and charm and gaiety to life and everything." Plato

That's one of the best covers of "Crazy" that I've ever heard. Looking forward to hearing more from Allison, (and friend).

I initially read the title as 'Crazy Patsy Cline cover' - as in crazy good. I still think I had it right after listening.

The sound is so pure...the guitar works is ...it hits you inside...and Alison's voice is pure gold....these combinations cannot be captured on stage..they sound better in settings such as these....not easy to sing it like Patsy...but the duo here did it justice......wow

Josh, I absolutely love whst you've come up with on the guitar part gor yhis classic. It really captures the sultry, laid-back feeling of the original while still making it your own. Nice job of combining the backing chords with very well done rythm produced by your finger picking style . Not overly busy but warm and sincere - obviously felt as much as it was played. Also, Allison has the perfect voice for this - again staying true to the original while making it her own. Were you two out busking with this, I would definitely stop, listen, clap warmly and throw a couple dollars in the case. Nice job! Well done!

Love this song. Whistle in tune is harder than it seems. Allison is voice is remarkable. Very sultry alto bottom range with a great a belt on the upper notes. Loved it up to the modulation. A little bumping with the capo but still such a great player.

Listened to this twice more since my first comment, and even MORE impressed with Allison's voice and singing 'specially holding those notes and right-on pitch.. nice whistling too..

I don't have enough superlatives for the quality of this young lady's singing! The guitar playing was also extraordinary. These two made the song sound so natural and effortless. Congrats!
