Crazy people in Albuquerque

Tonight, I watched a guy yell at his girlfriend in the parking lot. He started throwing things at her. I called the police. He threw the back seat of the car at her. They continued to yell incoherently (they were both clearly high).
He sped out of the parking lot, nearly hitting several other cars. He returned a few minutes later and picked her up. Then, he sped out again, nearly missing two pedestrians. He returned a third time. Picked up the seat, no girlfriend this time...
He then sped around the parking lot multiple times, nearly hitting multiple cars and people. He was yelling at everyone. He yelled at the father who was trying desperately to load his kids into his truck to get them out of there. He then stopped with his car in the middle of the lane, left his door open and started yelling and walking around.
The police (~30 min after I called) finally arrived. They sat him down and chatted. He had no plates. No insurance. No registration. Was clearly high. They let him go...
No wonder crime is high.
Albuquerque is a shit hole. Always, always carry a gun. Nobody will save you. Nobody will protect you. Nobody will rescue you. You are on your own.
