Heathrow had a hell of an afternoon on Sunday it had to close both runways for over 30mins due to the electric storm flights were diverted to Stanstead and luton, but here in the north east hot sunshine blue skies and temps of 28c

We had a second storm tonight here in Nantwich Cheshire, the second storm was worse than the first and it was quite fierce and lasted about half hour, the rain came down that hard our back garden got flooded by the back door and although the door was shut the water came un and flooded the back hall way, in all five house on our road ended up flooded in the same way through the back door

We had the storm on Sunday night and I've seen many a storm in my life, however, on Sunday night we had our bedroom window open to watch it and I saw a big flash coming down and it 'cracked' never seen that before, please advise?

When I was a kid, about 40 years ago. The science teacher always said tornados were rare in Europe. That the u.s had more than the rest of the world. Wonder why he taught that. Its obvious the entire world has these dangerous storms.

Good coverage, I thought your set-up was looking good, but when you had to put your main expensive cameras away I was then disappointed that when you changed to your phone you then filmed the entire thing in Portrait? I don't understand why, when all TVs these days are Landscape and wide-screen! Kinda spoilt it for me cos you missed all much.
