@@dopewarszh6429 he knew that. This had nothing to do with the ante. He was needling the guy to try to tilt him and it was obviously working. This is very much a standard part of some people's game. If Lesandro had calmly ignored him Prahlad would've given up quickly. This is what little kids do in the back seat to try to get each other in trouble. I don't know where you get your information but if you have a strong suspicion that someone is not playing fair you don't need 100% proof before you speak up. Friedman could easily have gone about this by just asking something vague like, “Is there an ante missing?” He could have requested a check without accusing anyone specific. I’m surprised that he has any moral credibility after that + this incident. It’s pretty obvious what his plan was in that spot. It was to call right as the countdown ended so that if he was right, he could appeal. The risk of having your hand called dead and not winning chips isn’t as bad as calling incorrectly and being out. Like he called, but after the countdown so he could quietly muck and say “well the tourney director has made his ruling!”. He even has social justice posturing. Anyway, I mustered up the courage to tell him how much I admired his game. He just stared at me like I was an annoying mosquito and said, 'Oh, like you're doing now?' I was taken aback. I mean, was he kidding? I was just trying to be a fan! He kept repeating 'huh?' in this condescending tone and even snapped his fingers in front of my face. I walked away, feeling completely humiliated. As I was checking out, I saw him trying to sneak out with a bunch of Milky Ways. The cashier was so nice about it, but he just pretended not to hear her. Finally, he grudgingly brought them to the counter. When she tried to scan them all at once, he insisted she scan each one individually 'to prevent any electrical interference. What a weirdo. He even yawned loudly while she was telling him the price. I couldn't believe how rude and entitled he was.

I'm no big time poker player but I do play alot at my local casino. If someone called me a cheat SEVERAL times it would've been a big problem. Like let's go settle this in the parking garage or outside type of problem. That's just a word you don't use unless your 1000% sure of it.

Being wild and disruptive are a thing some do. Calling someone a cheat or a thief is likely to get you hurt. There are lines you shouldn't cross. There's a reason getting under someone's skin is something to be avoided. They might not play by same non rules you do.

@@gustaaf1892 no, of course. But I was clarifying it for the guy who thought he was Italian. I was explaining how he had gotten confused. He hears the word Italy, he wasn't wrong to have thought he heard that word, but not the rest of it. Obviously the guy is Australian by the way he speaks. And the commentator said he was Australian living in Italy playing in the highest stakes games.
