I have a Preston superium carp pole and I’ve landed some big double figure carp on it no problem and was seriously considering changing it to either an Aventus 900 or the 700, but couldn’t decide. Watching that pole in action with those fish has now convinced me to change my pole. WOW, well done Matt and tank for such a great vid. And we’ll done guru for making probably the strongest fishing pole on the planet. 👍

thanks mate, glad you liked it. If you're going to go and do this kind of fishing you need to have ultimate confidence in your pole. Don't go if you even have a doubt, make sure you used a beefed up strong pole that won't let you down. Trust us, the fish pull like mad!

Awsome fishing love how you like to set yourselves challanges ,been wanting to do this for the last few years,and finaly went out onto the 7@ coalport on a members only stretch , i only took my pole to force myself to make it work for a barbel on the pole after going through a few times and river riseing i had to change flat float to 40g , but still struggling to prescent ,and haveing never fished on a pole on the river b4 and although it was carrying a bit of extra water i persevered ,then i had a postive bite ,i really lifted very hard as you have to set the hook ,anyway i conected and immeditley i knew it ws on and a good fish ,it started kyteing up stream then a hook pull cameback with 2 very big scales which i think was a carp.Gutted not to be down hearted i endured the challange ,and then it buried on a 14 mm spicy sasauge pellet ,and the thrill of the fight i have never experinced in my barbel life , it rocked me up twice but droped the pole as i was shown on this video and it worked know i was fighting a 6lb barbel in the middle of a riseing river whith 11m of carbon aimed at the heavans in 1 hand whist filming 1on my mobile phone with the other. All my m8s said you wont be able to do it,well i did ,and know i want a new challange.give it a go. Thanks Guru Men for the push i needed.
