I can still accept you picking Oklahoma State over Utah, with or without Cameron Rising. However, just so you know, Cameron Rising was injured against Baylor, and he sat out against Utah State. However, according to most sources, Cameron Rising is expected to start against Oklahoma State. Kyle Wittingham and the medical staff said Rising's injury was not too serious.

BYU fan, thanks for ranking the Cougar's at 18. SMU was a good win, but I was disappointed in Wyoming. Their quarterback is big and has a strong arm but so far is not very accurate. BYU won handily but this week will be the test, playing Kansas State. If they win this game it will tell how the rest of the year will go. That is a big IF.

Went 9-3 last week and would have gone 10-2 if not for the final seconds win UCF had over TCU Tennessee (Oklahoma will get wespons back, but UTs front 7 is dangerous. They are going to welcome OU to the SEC real good) Arkansas (Auburn let me down vs Cal, i need to see more from them) Florida (Miss St let me down big time vs ASU. Florida is bad, but not Miss St bad) Oklahoma St (this is more gut than anything. I think this is the one game OSU puts it all together. Ollie Gordon comes alive as well. The man has been offline with his controller being unplugged for 3 weeks) Arizona St (they've impressed me. They are going to run on Texas Tech to slow the game down and keep TTs offense off the field at least enough to eek out a win) Kansas St (double digit win) Clemson (NC St isn't that good) TCU (not confident, but here we go) Cal (they showed me something and FSU is beyond trash) USC (a lot better than many people think coupled with Michigan's problems on offense and defense. This might get ugly) BC (im really liking this team. I think they finish with 9-10 regular season wins) Iowa (im not confident in this pick at all) Tulane (not much to go off, i just think Tulane is better than ULL) LSU (by 28 points) Ill come back to post my record.

So, according to every source I've seen, Utah QB Cam Rising is expected to start against Oklahoma State. If a healthy Rising plays this weekend I wouldn't be surprised to see Utah win this game. That said, I think OSU is sick and tired of hearing so much hype about Utah, and will try and show up Utah in this game. OSU isn't going to roll out a red carpet for Utah to come into their conference and their house and push them around. Will be a tough game that I could see go either way.

Coastal Carolina and James Madison could both win setting up an October 10 Thursday night show down in jmu for the sunbelt title and a playoff spot . But I don’t like either to win . I’ll be rooting for them both but highly unlikely my dream matchup of mid majors happens . Besides that I’m narrowing my mid major at large bid to the mountain west this year it will be Fresno Boise or Unlv out of that conf. Sprinkled by a San Jose for good measure. To rise out of that conf. Then Toledo vs niu in the Mac followed by Memphis vs south Florida and liberty out of the cusa . Someone has to take home the bid . But how about this one for everyone nobody saw coming . Washington state runs the table and gets the small conf bid . If they do will they be considered for the playoff school from the small conf or just an at large bid like nd would get? Maybe we will find out

Because the Oklahoma defense isn’t the deciding factor. Oklahoma has an offense that’s given up nine sacks against Temple, Huston, and Tulane. And is going against a Tennessee defense that is 3rd in points per game and 2nd in yards allowed. This year. Tennessee is a team that in the past three years has had an offense that makes opposing teams have to outscore them more often than not, and I don’t see how a team with an offense in the bottom 27 of FBS in terms of yards per game is gonna be able to achieve that (fun fact: NC State is 6 places above Oklahoma in ypg on offense and nearly 20 ypg higher on average). That’s why Tennessee is favored by so much. Yes the best team the Vols have played is NC State, but that same team only scored 3 offensive points. Oklahoma’s defense is indeed the best Tennessee will have faced at this point, but the same can be said for Oklahoma’s offense facing Tennessee’s. For Oklahoma to win, they’re gonna have to find something deep within themselves when they have the ball.
