I'm a 48yo surfer who works construction in Scotland, I heard what you said about age and injury, you are in an amazing position to show how longevity in surfing can be achieved and how even with age progression can still very much happen, I give myself three targets that I try to reach every year in surfing and I will be 49 at the end of this year.

The shot of the C-5 made me nostalgic about surfing on Okinawa as a young Marine. Chose the right service. Most Marine bases are on a coast since they're an amphibious organization. Made friends with an Air Force Forward Weatherman at Army Jump School. That seems like another good job for a surfer. Weird how many SpecOps guys are into surfing. Thanks for the stoke!

After 30?!?! Im 48, hit the reef a month ago and broke 2 ribs, slight internal bleeding, and scratched my back. 12 week recovery time for the ribs. You’ll be fine! Keep up the great content coming. 🤙🏽

I just got home from my 2nd trip to Oahu. These videos are great. But having seen the North Shore in person when the waves are 15+ foot... these videos do absolutely nothing to show the actual intensity of these waves. The playful music and editing.. its just insane the amount of skill and courage it takes to do what you guys do. Hawaii's North Shore is terrifying.

You should go film a video on the point down the road from laniakea on papailoa rd. That’s were I grew up. Use to be a great surf and big 3rd reef waves. Would love to see if it’s still good. Haven’t been back in a long time.
