Hope you and Nate are making coin with your channels! You deserve it. I enjoy the personal, living vicariously through you guys. God speed.

As a former lifeguard, the fact there are dudes who actually guard these parts of the ocean, and the people who surf them, is truly a higher calling. They have to guard their own life as much as the lives of others. Real stuff

Koa's the best, just love his delivery style, he doesn't dress anything up - it's just straight talking, telling it like it is. Seems like a really good bloke.

Do an episode talking about the lifeguards at these spots. Those guys are studs of the ocean and I have nothing but respect for those guys. It's definitely not Baywatch bullshit that they do, they are legit.

Crazy the guys used to surf those waves with no leashes or floatation. No jet skis either. Couldn't imagine being out there and having to swim back. Insane.
@Jesterian Жыл бұрын
Yeah people died. I don't know if any wave is worth your life. Maybe if you're a single guy with no one who cares about you. But imagine putting your family and friends through losing you just to get a wave.

Paddle in at big Waimea takes courage . (Done that w/o vest, like the explanation of the vest though) Kudos to all ya’ll. Especially like the idea of interviewing the men maybe some women who are the first responders of Waimea and Ehukai Beach Park ( Pipe). I never saw a woman life guard at either break when it’s big. I assume there some now. It’s 45 years since I dropped in at either break. 70 year old Florida long boarder now. Made here stayed here. Thanks for your work. I relive the best days of my life through you. 😊
