Kodi Lee proved to this whole world that people with autism ARE able to do anything their hearts want to do. As a young man with Autism and only seeing from my left eye, I love cars, love driving them, working on them. Yet people always feel I'd be a liability on the road. Yet when I drove my friend's suburban, a sheriff passed me and didn't even bat an eye. Even giving me a thumbs up! I was born to drive, and I don't care what people think. You only have one life. Why waste it staying under the stereotypes society pins on us? I'm not going to. What people need to know is that people with disabilities of all types always find a way. We aren't blocked by the limitations we have, we find ways around them. His audition is a message to all and it says 3 simple things. Keep chasing your dreams. Don't let society get in the way. Never give up.
