This week we revisited Las Playitas so that we could go up to El Faro de Entallada. This fascinating lighthouse was built in the 50's and is the closest point in the Canary Islands to Africa. We really enjoyed the architecture and the stunning views from up here but the steep, narrow road to reach it is a bit hairy!
It was really windy this week and we also had several days of calima which we briefly talk about on our long Sunday hike with our canine amiga, Jet.

Watching from newton le willows loved the dog walk was in fuerteventura about 15 years ago loved it windy thats why its called the windy island driving was great so quiet out of the resorts visited the ss american star and also did the ferry to lanzarote to visit fire mountain. The Vlog you did to lanzarote and stayed at the jable bermudas was interesting the wife loves it there been loads enjoy your adventure

Oh my , that scary road! We went up there about 3 years ago, never again! View and lighthouse were amazing, when we saw someone leaving we jumped in our car and followed them down thought it safer.......When we are over there and visit Las Playitas, my husband threatens to take me up there every time we pass the turning, he knows how scared I was!!!!! Watching this from Corralejo where I’ve been staying as part of my trip to Fuertaventura. Heading to Morre Jable today and was thinking of visiting Las Playitas and this Lighthouse on the way down. Road looks terrifying so not sure if I have the nerve to do it. See how I feel but looks stunning.
