Absolutely love the energy in the team this year. It's like the team has come to realize they're finally on the upswing of the rebuild. Honestly, I think the fight was there last year, it was just lacking the talent. Now we've added Raymond, Seider, Ledddy and a healthy Larkin and Bertuzzi. That's a major infusion of quality on a team that was starved of it.

Those blocked shots were the reason he forced overtime, sooner or later it will come when it pays off and we tie it and then score the overtime winner. I’m liking the way this team is playing tho. Definitely the players all feel it they all want playoff hockey.

Yzerman is molding this team into his own image and that's why he dumped lazy ass players like AA and Mantha and bought out passengers like Abby and Nielsen. Yzerman was determined, skilled, gritty, and would do whatever it took to win. If you're not willing to do that Yzerman kicks you to the curb. The country club atmosphere of the Holland era is over.

I’m a Red Wings fan. I haven’t jumped up on my feet and cheered in many years. But today watching that game I did. Because this team has life in it. Its a team that wants to win threw and threw. They do not give up, regardless if they are down 2-0, It felt like two real competitors playing each other and one got the best of the other. Stevie Y and Blashhill keep doing the good work. Because this team may not make it this year, but you know damn well they will be in the playoffs next year and a competitor for the Stanley Cup in few years.

Man, Florida is so talented. Like the way they were moving the puck last night was master class. And Bob is getting hot at the right time after being sub par the past couple years. I'd give anything to be in that building last night. Btw Raymond dancing through 4 Panthers was the highlight of the night next to this one lol. So pumped for the guys.

This year is just a preview of what is to come. Imagine what the next 1-2 years will be like. The rebuild will finally be over. They'll have an entire team of strong young guys, a cupboard full of promising prospects and be set to compete for the Stanley Cup once more. Think of it like a beta for a video game. The beta is just a testing phase for the players near release but not the final product. It basically let's the developers know what they need to tweak and change before they release the full game
