I always use a 9v battery to light it, works mega 👌🏼👌🏼
@paultrunfull33242 жыл бұрын
Hi there, you can also use a 9v battery to light the steel wool. Touch the two terminals of the batt. on the steel wool it creates a circuit and lights the wool. Get 000 steel wool late will give better sparks. I also find that if you spin the whisk/wool at a med. speed that makes it last longer,hope this helps.

@thevisuallife2 жыл бұрын
Hey Rich, thanks for checking out the video. Settings wise it was a shutter speed of around 8-13 seconds and then an aperture of roughly F11

I used a thicker steel whool so it doesn’t burn as fast and last a bit longer! Be careful it burns through shirts lol

A nine volt battery will light up the steel wool quite well. Congrats on a great shoot.

Life hack for steel wool spinning: You can also ignite the super-fine steel wool with a 9 volt battery. 👍🏼
