I love to eat grasshopper too. When I use to live in the farm, my grandpa and grandma we use to catched them. First we take out the wings, the feet, and then wash them. Second, we boil them with little water depending on how much grasshopper you have to cook and add salt with Ginger for about few minutes. Thirdly we roasted them sprinkle a some oil and herbs until they are cranchy and aromatic. Its so good. This is what john the Babtist has been eating in the wilderness when he was roaming the desert. Read The book of Lavitucus in the Bible. It mentioned grasshopper that it is Edible to eat and it provide Protien for the body and these insect do not shedding blood when being taken out their wings and feet.

They are a seasonal delicacy. They are like "manna".. They always migrate to the great lakes tropical areas because of the warm wet season of November, known in luganda as the month of musenene, to bread then hatch in the dry seasons of December …. Thus you have teasted the 1st immigrants arguably from the lwela sweeps in the the greater masaka region above the great lake Victoria known a nalubale in luganda..
