Crazy street food tour in Agadir, Morocco. Today we went on a crazy street food tour of Agadir in Morocco, trying a Moroccan cow brain tagine while exploring Africa’s largest indoor souk!

Our mission to try the best street food in Morocco has taken us to the coastal city of Agadir. Our first stop on our crazy Moroccan street food tour was to try the popular Moroccan food of hargma. This classic dish is made up of slow cooked beef trotters in a rich broth full of chickpeas, definitely a rich dish to start the day.
Being on the coast, we had to try fresh fish in Agadir, so we tasted the popular Agadir street food of freshly grilled sardines. Afterwards, we continued our Moroccan food tour to explore Souk El Had, Africa’s largest indoor souk. This souk is massive, full of Moroccan street food, shopping, fruits and veggies, you name it this souk has it! While we were there, we sampled some of the Agadir street food, like za3za3 and briouats. Africa’s largest indoor souk was full of many tastes, flavours, and deliciously yummy treats.
The last stop on our crazy street food tour in Agadir, Morocco was at a shop near the souk that does some crazy tagines. We stopped in for a Moroccan cow brain tajine cooked by the chef Rachid. As far as foods to eat in Morocco go, this is one you must try! The Moroccan cow brain is fried up then finished in the tagine with fresh bread, a tasty and flavourful dish.

This video was a great showcase of the diverse and delicious food that Agadir has to offer. From the traditional Moroccan dishes like tagine and couscous to the fresh seafood, it's clear that the city is a food lover's paradise. The tour guide did a great job of highlighting the unique flavors and ingredients of each dish, and the footage of the markets and street vendors really added to the overall experience. Thank you!!🌷 Yes, also this souk in Agadir is known as the biggest 'Souk" in the continent and ofc because a souk is a typical market in an 'Arab' country (incl the Bazaar), therefor its very rare or you wont find a 'souk', based on the same 'cultural' context in sub saharan Africa or the rest of Africa. This is all part of the beautiful diversity of this continent. This video shows us without a doubt one of the most beautiful souks in all the MENA region. (Middle East and North Africa) I have read that Al-Madina Souq in Syria is the largest covered souk, not only in Asia but in the entire world, with an approximate length of 13 kilometers. Egypt and Turkey(the Grand Bazaar) are very impressive too(I have visited a couple of years ago). Thank you again for your dedicated work to show us the beauty of this country, very much appreciated and have a lovely sunday🌺🌺 Update: If you ever visit the Netherlands, a city near Amsterdam covers the biggest souk, similar to the ones found in the MENA region, in Europe.

Agadir region is well known for its meat tagines with argan oil (tagine soussi) but you have to try them in rural areas
