Algarve Stadium was built more or less at the same time as Benfica, Sporting, Porto, Braga, Leiria, Aveiro... all to be ready for the Euro 2004. So they are all around 14-15y old. The difference is because the Algarve Stadium doesnt have a team that is permanently in "Primeira Divisao", it is normal to expect that maintenance is not as sharp compared to other stadiums. Still it is a nice stadium as you said.

The Algarve stadium is one of the 10 stadiums Portugal built for Euro 2004. It was inaugurated the year before. Not an old stadium, but it´s getting mature haha Great atmosphere overall in this match, but as a neutral fan I also wished for a more balanced outcome. In terms of infrastructure (Stadium + Training Campus) Benfica has the best, biggest and newest one and right now Benfica is the best team for youngsters 'cause Benfica can give them everything they need to be a professional football player.
