A lot of people/tourists don't know about wild animals...I saw the same thing at Yellowstone Park. Sure they should know, but they don't. What's common sense to you and I isn't universal.

I spend time in Estes every Fall. We’re in the territory of these beautiful Elk! Leave. Them. Alone! Back off! These people are completely insane! Also, anyone letting a young child get so close should have their children taken away from them!

This isn't really the crazy tourists' fault...it's the infrastructure built by the people who run this town. If they had half a brain they had to know this kind of thing would happen.

@@meganspindle7771 Didn't say that Megan...it's the tourists and the people who created this mess who should be in cages or behind fences. The people who run this town are obviously incompetent. It's all about the tourism dollar and they are willing to risk the lives of ignorant tourists to get that money.
