This was great content, reminded me of the old days. I hope to see you do more of these urban enduros.

Sam you are a great role model and ambassador for the sport. I especially like how your videos are clean with no swearing appealing to a wide audience. You are the man Sam and hopefully one day i will get to meet you with my 9 year old lad - who is also called Sam 😂

😂 knew a mechanic who's seatpin fell down at the start of a race, as he hadn't tightened up the seating bolt 🙈 Same mechanic also forgot to tighten up the brake cables on the bosses bike, so the cables pilled through during a road race, boss wasn't happy at all 😂
@Bennyboy2896Ай бұрын
😂All that made me think of was Sam using the kerb to file the edges off his stems when he cuts it down 😂😂

@junka1975Ай бұрын
That was an awesome effort Sam but Rich certainly has fitness on his side. You could however (if you weren't worried about results) do the course with your steering wheel attached and have shown them all how it's really done. 😜👍 Canyon, please send Sam a torque wrench, a brick, a piece of kerbing for sanding with and he will be on top of his game, no more twisting components. I think he gets put off using real tools and needs his special ones from yesteryear. Seriously though, on the stair sets, if you didn't have those few little difficulties, you would have easily been doing the fastest times on those bits.
@SamPilgrimАй бұрын
I actually would have beat him fair and square if I didnt crash 😉 So maybe I’m not that unfit!! But yeah a steering wheel for one of the stages would have been insane 😂

Love your content. Love the idea of biking like this, but I do not have good enough vision, and I injure way too easily, so I love getting to see your POV and living through you without hurting myself. Nice race, I think you did great. Bummer about the fall, but you clearly still have the skills to keep up with the younger guys!

Back when I raced indoor BMX events, I used to put coke syrup on my tires for extra grip on the slick surfaces. Worked great back in the day.

Malta has great metal bands, shocks, pegs, lucky!
@radiocontrolled9181Ай бұрын
Malta is tiny and super overpopulated and overbuilt mate, with little countryside and keeps on getting further destroyed by building more concrete monstrosities. The greedy developers backed up by the corrupt government have ruined the Maltese people's quality of life because all they saw and keep seeing is money money money. All happened so fast during the past decade. It is what it is. I think Malta would be perfect if it was 10 times bigger and with the same number of people and buildings it has now.
