When a tree’s life is over you have two real options, let the bugs feast, or turn it into something useful. Here in the UK there is a saying, an oak tree spends 200 years growing, 200 years living and 200 years dying. During its life it becomes shelter for birds and animals, it’s leaves are turned into nutrients for the soil, food for birds and animals and insects, when it dies it can be used by man or continue to support nature.
