Yes true love is real. I know because I found it this year when I met the man who taught me what love really is. I just had my 72 birthday, was married for 47 years to a man who didn’t love me truly, he wasn’t a bad guy he just didn’t know how to love. Now my heart is being ripped apart because after finding this new love, I found out that I’m dying. I’m in Hospice care now and instead of planning our wedding still, we are grappling with this new reality. I don’t need a wedding but I do not want to lose this love that fills my heart and soul. He is devastated just as much as I am. Maybe the doctors are wrong but I don’t think so. I’m weaker by the day and my heart is heavy. It is literally heavy, surrounded by the fluid that will make it stop beating one day soon. Life is so unfair it seems but I’d rather have this love, as brief as it may be than to never have found out what THIS love feels like. I want to be in his arms when I draw my last breath, I want his lips on mine as I tell him goodbye. God help me be strong enough to love until the end. 😢

There is a thin veil between here and there. Tell him You will watch over him and he should look for signs. A feather, light flicker, find a penny. It happens. I’m so sorry that you are going thru this illness. Keep praying. Miracles happen. What you said about being glad you were able to know real love is so true. I was crying so hard reading this, as I know what it was like to live with man that did not love me for 25 years I walked away and I’ve been afraid of life ever since 16 years by myself, listening to what you have experienced has given me hope, but most of all I am so pleased for you. Love found you And showed you who you are wrapped it’s arms around you it never lets go love can never die the love we want it’s not always the love we need. I . I am so happy for you as to knowing that you really do truly believe in love he goes with you wherever you are whether it be physical or not. You belong to each other. As the tears are falling from my eyes, for you, it reminds me of myself. I had a husband for 40 years. Had a massive heart attack and died. It wasn't true love ❤ However, now I think I found someone else who may be able to show me what love really is between two strangers. I do have a few medical problems. I never thought that that kind of love existed. Now I'm second-guessing it❤. I was really taken back by your story, thank you for sharing. I greatly appreciate it .
