This might be one of the best Games of the Month in an entire year. Feels like home on the Alpha. And the QR code feature is actually a pretty smart way of implementing online leaderboards without having to bloat the console firmware itself.

I will definitely be getting Indie Heroes 4, mainly for Jane Austen's 8 Bit Adventure as I really enjoyed that but i haven't played any of the others. This looks excellent so I'll be downloading it as soon as possible. Silly fun!

Murtop is a great game that I've had for some time on other platforms. I'm still rocking the Flea 2 firmware and will probably wait until the New Year to update to the latest firmware because we all know what happened with the 2023 December update. Better to be safe than sorry ;-) Keep up the awesome work!

It definitely has quality written over it Crazy Burger! Not sure if it is a greater game than Flee 2 ? 🤔. But this looks a lot easier than that. So perhaps more fun? I hope they do include a few extra games on it too though! 👍

The save game bug issue is something I've had. More often than not I could save on my VS, go to continue it on the super pocket and the save not be there, or it was a save I made earlier into play time on either device.

@@saracen2633 I think swapping between devices regularly probably caused issues with some of my carts and games through the years.

It's doing ok. Yeah I'll probably do a video in a week or 2 to provide an update. The worst part is really the sound. It's rubbish.

I've seen this game appear on Itch, which I kept overlooking cause I wasn't sure if it was good enough for me to check out. But I will consider getting a stand alone copy for PC, since I'm unlikely to get a collection of underwhelming indie games just to play this on Evercade.

@CrazyBurger yup, a lot will depend on the non GOTM games as to how it stacks up to the others, but as long as they are half decent it'll be on par with them.
