"Johnson LP manifold" .. Notes I found said this was a good intake for LP Gas but the exhaust ports performed poorly. Apparently castings are being made/sold redesigned for better exhaust flow for LP systems. not gasoline. You have a newly reconditioned carb for the next tractor though. Or get a gasoline manifold.

.... A senior citizen got a set of false teeth..... After a few days came back to the dentist and said "They don't fit..".. dentist made some minor adjustments.... Again patient returned with the same complaint... Dentist asked "What do you mean they don't fit..?"... Patient replied "They don't fit in the glass I put them in at night..."

I may be LOST did you not take the old carb OFF then rebuilt it and now it will not bolt back on right ?

Steiner has replacement manifolds for Farmall M for less than $200. But it would look "new" and stand out like a sore thumb

My dad used to own an auto restoration business and would airbrush or soak new parts in mild acid to create the appropriate patina to make modern repairs/replacements look period correct or blend in with its surroundings. Skilled airbrushing and paintless dent repair are like magic to watch.

Excellent video Crazy D Equipment Dave :) & Doc :) I bet different Farmall different model bet maybe from 1964 to 1968 McCormick International 105C combine gas motor possibly of 202 Cubic Inches one of 4 cylinders!

Did you put back the original carb or different one, how in the h can it run before with the carb and now it won't fit back on the tractor. Need to get real mechanics to work on things so it is done right.

@@dwightphillips9594 yeah I have a real mechanic thank you The other carburetor or the modified badly to fit you put it back to correct we just have to change the incorrect manifold now

I have been wondering what is the deal will all those Gleaner combines in the background? I see more of those in tree line on old farms then any other combine but I don't think I have ever seen one run. but yet there never being scraped either.

😊😊 all carbs arent the same size and the over size carbs have a bigger throat size so they wiil be bigger than the intake inlet U might have 2 use adapter the best is 2 use a manifold like whats should be on the tractor 🚜 😊 OMG 9 29 2O24

Crazy d I have two cases what is an 8:30 I think the other one is an 8:30 also but one of them I cannot find the serial number I need help

We had a 4020 gas once that was originally a propane & was converted to gas. It wouldn't run right with the lp gas manifold.

Sure is a lot of negativity on line. It isn't the end of the world. Obviously some one changed out the manifold to an after market unit. But if that carb was on it before, should be able to fit it up again. Unless that's what the issue was in the first place. Can't see from the video, but should be able to either drill different holes in the manifold or weld on an adaptor or extra ear/ lug to bolt to? Farmall M's are some of the most durable and reliable tractors ever built! I sure wouldn't give up easily.
