I'd look closer at the broken Draft linkage mechanism before giving up. Draft may easily override the manual lift controls, where it lets the 3-point arms drop the plow deeper in the ground with no lift capability. The Draft system in this tractor could be more sensitive to settings or much more reactive than the usual Ferguson/Ford tractors. "Phone a friend" may get it solved. Last option: If Hoovie only plans brush hogging with this tractor, the old Allis Chalmers (probably other brands too) brush hogs were two-wheeled pull behind models for fixed-bar row-crop style hitches; they don't even need a hydraulic cylinder if a ratchet binder is used there instead. Not as cool as three point but gets the job done.

You need the draft control connected otherwise it isn't going to work.

Doc you're a better man than me i would've never worked on that to start with

I can understand the frustration.

Doc, you have to appreciate that you have done pretty much all you could do. I think you have done yeoman's work thus far. It has come a long way and I hope you can feel proud of what you have accomplished.

I'd make a good entrance statue in Hoovies driveway :)

It does run good now. But no hydro is a no go.

The tractor is Italian. Would olive oil or something like that help? Is it Catholic? Maybe get a special prayer from the Pope or an exorcism?

Your draft is keeping your 3point from working it needs to be hooked up

Mount a external cylinder between lift arm and hitch frame, plumb in a external remote, and call it a job done

Oooo sad for you...maybeHoovie or April can sort the spares out....love ya luve ya style. No probs
@williamsnipes9810Ай бұрын
that's why there's not a lot of those tractors around. The only reason to have that tractor around is for it's rarity and novelty. If someone wanted it for the challenge or has a lot of expertise with those things. Be prepared to spend a lot of time and money. Say goodbye and move on. Buy an H (Farmall) and be better satisfied.

First, really hope you'll show us what the "big gun" does and what he finds. Second, there seemed to be zero resistance when manually moving the lift arms. Seems like the lift actuator should offer at least a bit of resistance. Something disconnected, or the actuator is toast?

@CrazyDEquipmentАй бұрын
@@jameschainey2343 no the hydraulic pump is on the side of the tractor it's alive hydraulics you don't have to have the PTO running we have tried just in case and it doesn't make a difference
