the actual name for this raga according to the sangeeta makaranda, ramamatya and other scholars is Dwijayavanti (One who is twice victorious). In the north it changed to Jayajayavanti, whilst in the south the raga nomenclature changed to Dwijavanti. The name "Jujavanti" can easily be taken as an apabhramsha of Dwijavanti.

@dheerajiitkgp , The songs of Muthuswami Dikshitar in this raga are towards Sri Meenakshi and most are towards Durga/Parvathy only....therefore "Jajajayavanti (Victory)" seems appropriate.... If it was "Dvijavanti" then it would have to do with Sri Saraswati ...or knowledge etc according to me.... Therefore "Jayajayavanti" is the right one.....
