Great video! I use that same hook. If you're into getting the most out of your baits, switch that spring out to a large owner cps spring. Once I switched, I go through a lot less big ez's.
@NormGfishing20 күн бұрын
Thanks! I'll try that ✅

I Enjoy the videos. I wanted to give something similar but a little different to try.. same setup your using but trade out the big ez for the slim ez 🤫, try and let me know.. 💪🏻😎🎣

I will look into the slim ez. Thanks for the tip.

I was curious as to what retrieves you try with the speed worm in the cold water ? I've had pretty good luck fishing a Senko basted in scent super slow. Good video as always.
@NormGfishing21 күн бұрын
I tried slow rolls and stop and go with the speed worm. The Senko is an awesome way to catch the big ones.

@@NormGfishing Hey, what are you running your GoPros off of power wise ?
@NormGfishing19 күн бұрын
@ I keep a battery pack in my pocket for my chest camera and use my boat power for the rear camera. You can buy the battery packs on Amazon.

@@NormGfishing Cool, I was going to show you a cheap option for the Yolotek stick. I made a couple inexpensive systems to run off your 12v battery with a dc convertor.

Norm, seems you only use, several baits. You fish, tournaments with those five. Never caught, that many large ones, on Toho, Kissimmee, Harris Chain, St. John's River, near Jacksonville. You don't go to Garcia, much. Still, a awesome day.
@NormGfishing21 күн бұрын
I’ve fished a few tournaments in the past, but now I fish mostly for fun. My go-to lures are chatterbaits, Senkos, speed worms, and swimbaits. Garcia is still one of my favorite spots, though the main road being out of commission makes the trip much longer. Thankfully, there are plenty of great lakes closer to home!

@@NormGfishing Never pass on Lake Kingsley up by Starke if you ever get the chance ! A friend and I fished it when I was a member a few years back and the first 1/2 hour he got a 12.3 !
@JamesPetit121 күн бұрын
@@NormGfishing I've never liked tournaments. They are the complete opposite of why I fish. Much rather spend a day on the water with Larry Larsen or Doug Hannon...

Rare to see someone on KZbin fishing a Gambler BIG EZ on a big hook. My number one confidence bait/technique. Good stuff.
