How to Use Rock Band Guitars in FORTNITE FESTIVAL!

Make sure you've selected pro lead or pro bass.

I selected normal bass as a test and it worked, then I went into pro and the key binds were messed up

Fortnite hates PlayStation. Xbox and pc only can use the guitars sadly

Great guide on getting Rock Band Guitars working. I don't have a RB guitar but I'm using the RetroCultMods V3 adapter with it's latest firmware to support Festival, and I did the same thing before seeing this video and it works 100%

​@@tsmreaper69 Unfortunately it won't work with the V2 or V3 for PS4/5 at the moment. If Epic adds keyboard support for Pro mode, you'll be able to use either adapter without the need for any controller authentication!

@@tsmreaper69 Iirc Sanjay is trying to figure PS4/PS5 compatibility but it will require the V3 adapter since PS4/PS5 needs verification too. I would suggest getting a V3 when that comes along with RetroCult updating the firmware to support it

What’s your milliseconds for guitar? Mines set to 0 default but the notes just feels a bit delay and I’m pressing the buttons and some just doesn’t register

I use a ps2 guitar for clone hero. Got an adapter on Amazon for like $3 usd As for festival, I don't think we're gonna have any luck with a wii guitar or ps2 guitar working 😞

@@IAK40Kevin I figured out I didn’t have +mode selected either! I spent like 2 hours tinkering with it trying to get everything to work lol. Tbh it doesn’t feel that good to play Fortnite Festival with the guitar I calibrated and everything it just doesn’t feel as well synced as playing Rock Band 4. I’m sure they will improve that with updates and such it was just a fish of nostalgia just being able to use a guitar controller again!
